Freightliner Ipswich

They chose St Vincent House, one of Ipswich’s leading office locations for this new academy. Damon, ERTMS Business Change Manager at Freightliner, reached out to Zentura for the office design & build package. Having worked on multiple projects in the past, we already had a good understanding of Freightliner’s culture and design requirements. Working closely with Damon and his team, we created a design concept that embodies the Freightliner brand. An efficient and spacious layout with plenty of training and collaboration spaces promotes networking and learning. The use of brand colours throughout the space creates a warm and welcoming feel. It’s a flagship design concept that will be rolled out across the UK for all Freightliner’s offices. Zentura’s delivery team turned the design from concept to reality in just 7 weeks. The 5,500sq/ft office fit out included partitioning, joinery & teapoints, power & data, lighting, HVAC alterations, flooring, decoration, and bespoke graphics, as well as office furniture. Throughout the project, weekly site reports and regular meetings gave Damon and his team full visibility of project progress. Freightliner’s new training academy features a clean aesthetic with bold accents in the brand colours. This is enhanced by the bespoke large wall murals and custom glass manifestations. Cutting-edge A/V and simulator technology provide the facilities they need to train all their drivers nationwide. The spacious training facilities increase their ability to train multiple drivers at once. Freightliner now have the training academy they need to upskill their drivers and improve their service for years to come. The design of the new space is a flagship concept, set to become the design for all of their offices across the UK. With this new space, Freightliner can continue to set new standards of reliability, flexibility and customer service in their industry.
